Penny Taylor’s journey back - article by Ben York for phoenixmercury.com
I’m counting coldly on that most of you already seen this, either on the offical website or the new awesome app.
If you haven’t, it’s a great piece of writing from York about Taylor’s past 12 months of rehabilitation. Well worth your time!

Last but certainly not least Skylar Diggins and the Irish defeat the Iowa Hawkeyes 97-64 to advance to the Sweet 16. Diggins has not had to shoulder the load herself, she has just been doing what she does best, being the facilitator.
On this night it was Kayla McBride that was the player of the game with 28 points. Not to knock the other 2 of the 3 to see, but the Irish is really the most well rounded team. There are several players that have stepped up this entire season to fill the shoes of the seniors lost last year. This team is dangerous and has so much heart. They battled for the number 1 seed and they continue to fight their way back to the championship game.
The Fighting Irish will face the Kansas Jayhawks in the Sweet 16 on Sunday March 23, 2013. Time is still to be announced.
Note: I have made it a point to focus on the 3 to see until the draft but there is much more talent that is in this draft beside Griner, Donne and Diggins. To check out the impact players beyond “The Big 3” visit the below link to wnba.com’s story:
We posted the ball a couple of weeks ago, but here’s the new logo/wordmark for the WNBA.
